Course Description
This course provides students with an opportunity to examine major issues facing society. It also provides students with an opportunity to integrate sociological theories and concepts, and apply that integrated perspective to current social concerns presented to individuals, communities, nations, and the world. This course examines social problems as they relate to one’s identity, social institutions, health and safety, and the global society.
